Other parks

(sorry I have to write in English, I don't speak Icelandic). What about the other parks (Jökulsárgljúfur National Park, Skaftafell) - where they included, do they still exist as separate units? The articles in the german and english wikipedia just introduced this new national park stating that it also includes the regions that belong to those two national parks but don't state what actually happened to them. --Wirthi 30. júlí 2008 kl. 10:03 (UTC)

the new park Vatnajökulsþjóðgarður will just incorporate Jökulsárgljúfur and Skaftafell. These do not exist any more, they are now part of Vatnajökulsþjóðgarður --Salvör Gissurardóttir 30. júlí 2008 kl. 12:15 (UTC)
