Hello! Is it possible to change the template to a more lesser detailed template. In Norwegian they have gone away from the description field and emptied it. This template is old and needs changing concerning the interface and all that. Correct Icelandic words must be added as well and also parameters which describe which people are involved both the actors, writers, who wrote the music, who was director of photography, who edited the movie. Both in front and behind camera as well. This template is old and needs changing to the interface. It is possible to use the English template as an example. A new infobox template

Hello! Is it possible to create a new movie infobox. With different parameters and so forth. With parameters for the name, original title, country, release date, producer, director of photography, edited by, cinematography, music by, language, budget, gross revenue, production company, distribution company, directed by, written by etc. This infobox needs a new interface with all new parameters. Like what they have on English Wikipedia if you can see to that template. This needs a revamp to fit to the quality standards here and so forth. What I mean by this is that this template needs a totally new design and that is gonna require time. It is also possible to have Icelandic parameters and so on. Change to the movie template

Hello! Can you add a new infobox template for the movie template. Which tells about specific information about the movie and that is in Icelandic. For example: Name or the title of the movie. Director or directed by, producer or produced by, writer og written by, screenplay or screenwriter, starring, narrator or narrated by, music or who composed the music, editor or edited by, cinematography or director of photography, production company, Distributor or distributed by, Released or release date, Runtime, Budget and Total gross. And all new fields should be added. And you can delete the Imdb field and other fields as awards as well. You can delete fields concerning preceded by and sequels. You can use usage and parameter fields. Explaination of the paramaters in Icelandic too. Watch the English template for examples and then try to correct this template in the correct way. The parameters should tell about Country or Nationality, Language, Running time or runtime, Release date, Director or Directed by, Screenwriter or written by, producer or produced by, cinematography, music or music by, editor or edited by, production company, distributor or distributed by, starring, Budget and gross income. TemplateData should also include descriptions in Icelandic about the parameters. You should delete parameters such as awards and Imdb_id. And you either need sequel and preceded by.

New optional parameters for color processing, animator, layout artist, italic title and runtime

Hello! Is it possible to add new fields concerning animator, color processing, animator, layout artist, italic title and runtime. Animator is important for animated features. Color processing which describes which type of color processing which was used for example black and white or technicolor. Italic title which concerns if the page should be italicized or not. Runtime which concerns the length of the movie. And studio which concerns the production company the film had. And a field for editing and music and also cinematography. The template should be more precise like they have it on the English page. This template is old and needs revamp to meet the quality standards of the Encyclopedia. There are many possibilities to make it better. You should see the English template for what needs to be done. The fields should consist of: Name, Icelandic title or Icelandic name, Director or Directed by, Screenplay or Written by, Producer or Produced by, Original music or Music, Editor or Edited by, Country of origin or Original country, Director of photography or Cinematographer, Production company or Production companies, Release or released with a film date template if necessary, Genre or Movie genre, Type or movie type, Animation or Animator, Color processing or color, Budget, Gross revenue or gross, Distributor or Distributed by, Runtime, Narrator, Writer, Starring, Italic title, Layout artist and Background artist. The template must be changed but it requires much work. You should compare with other Wikipedia versions especially the English version. The required fields are film title or title, Icelandic title, Director or Directed by, Genre, Production company or companies, Starring, Language, Year of release and Country or Original country. It must be all new parameters and fields. Like what they have on Norwegian and the Swedish encyclopedia for instance. It should be a field for use and TemplateData. This template is old and needs a revamp to meet with quality standards. Check Norwegian Wikipedia for example on how a template is made there. This requires much time and the right people to do it. And also the fields needs to have correct Icelandic descriptions. The English descriptions needs to be erased. The awards and preceding and following film don't need to be there. The description should be in Icelandic the templateData should have labels, strings, and the suggested line for the most necessary parameters such as Icelandic title, Original title, Genre, Director, Film company, Original country, Main roles and Language. The TemplateData should have precise description about the parameters so people understand them. It should also be a documentation field there. The whole template needs a revamp. The template should be recognizable and understandable for people who use it. People should know how to use it. Italicization and highlighting of specific fields

Hello! Can you add italicization and highlighting of the fields. Italicization is for mandatory fields and italicization is for special notes. You can check the Norwegian movie template for this. Wikidata

Hello! Can you add the Wikidata function to some of the fields in the Wikidata such as Image, Caption, Genre, Original country, Director, Producer, Screenwriter, Music, Cinematography, Starring, Language, Budget and Gross. --88.89.14.37 28. nóvember 2019 kl. 14:58 (UTC)

Fetching some of those parameters from Wikidata would result in untranslated english or unlocalized content. For example, the caption would almost always be in English, and most genres aswell. That is just out of the question. Besides, there is very little interest in using content from Wikidata anyway, and no, support from an Norwegian user like yourself does not count.--Snaevar (spjall) 28. nóvember 2019 kl. 15:47 (UTC)

Hello! Snaevar I get that. If someone uses the data from Wikidata then you must be able to translate a language which is notoriously difficult to understand.

Running time

Hello! Is it possible to have runtime in movies without a mentioning of minutes. If you have runtime then you should enlist minutes automatically. You can also use runtime without minutes. On the Norwegian Wikipedia for instance minutes generates automatically when you write up the runtime for example if a movie lasts 97 minutes or 110 minutes. When you write up 96 or 110 then the length automatically becomes 96 minutes with a short mentioning after it. Hello! Is it possible to add a new template with documentation and all that. And also precise fields and parameters. And also addition such as animator, layout artist and background artist. And also music, cinematography and editing. And also cut away the example field. Only the suggested fields such as: Directed by, written by or writer, Country of origin, screenplay, budget, gross income, director of photography or cinematography, music or music by, editing or edited by, studio or production company, starring and runtime.
