Richard Sennett

Richard Sennett (fæddur 1. janúar 1943) er breskur félagsfræðingur. Hann er þekktastur fyrir rannsóknir á félagstengslum í borgum og hvaða áhrif borgarlíf hefur á einstaklinga í nútímasamfélögum.

Sennett vinnur nú að ritröðinni Homo Faber um hvernig efnislegir hlutir skapa menningu. Fyrsta bindi í ritröðinni ber titilinn The Craftsman og kom út árið 2008 og annað bindi er Together: The Rituals, Pleasures, and Politics of Cooperation kom út árið 2012. Óútkomið er bindi um borgarumhverfi.
