Meconopsis autumnalis^[1] er blásól ættuð frá Mið-Nepal.^[2] Hún blómstrar stórum gulum blómum í skúf upp úr hvirfingu fjaðursepóttra, lensulaga grænna blaða. Hún er einblómga (vex í nokkur ár og deyr svo eftir blómgun eins og tvíærar jurtir, "monocarpic").^[3]
