Jasper Griffin

Jasper Griffin (29. maí 193722. nóvember 2019) var breskur fornfræðingur og textafræðingur og var prófessor í grískum og latneskum bókmenntum við háskólann í Oxford from 1992 til 2004.

Griffin las fornfræði við Balliol College, Oxford (19561960) og var Jackson-félagi við Harvard University (196061). Þegar hann sneri aftur til Oxford varð hann Dyson-rannsóknarfélagi við Balliol College (1961—63) og kenndi fornfræði (1963—2004).

Jasper Griffin var kvæntur Miriam T. Griffin (fædd Dressler) í yfir fimmtíu ár, en hún er einnig markverður fornfræðingur.
