  2. Komprese - Píst se pohybuje směrem do HÚ (horní úvrať). Oba ventily jsou uzavřené. Nasátá směs zmenšuoje svůj objem, zvětšuje tlak a teplotu. Těsniě před hoirní úvrat, í je směs zapálena elektrickou jiskrou.
